This century-old house sits on a quiet tree lined street just east of downtown in one of East Austin’s oldest neighborhoods, tucked between a lively commercial corridor and Lady Bird Lake.  Stripped of both finishes and systems, this shell will be rebuilt slowly to take advantage of the space as it shifts from workshop to studio to eventual residence.  Only the old-growth pine studs will remain, serving as both the framework and the inspiration for this little house’s new life.
